Here's the average price of a home in Navan in 2018

The latest analysis from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Navan is now just over €240,000, according to the latest figures from Daft.ie. 

Analysis across all properties advertised in the town between April and June 2018 puts the average list price at €240,726.

This is at the lower end for Co Meath – significantly lower than the equivalent figure for Dunshaughlin (€337k) or Trim (€293k), and slightly under Ashbourne’s average of €259k.

However, it is in line with other commuter towns at a similar distance from Dublin, such as Newbridge (€248k) and Drogheda (€214k). 

Prices in Navan have been rising steadily in recent years, and are now up by just under 80 per cent since reaching their lowest point during the recession. They dipped to €134,107 in 2013.

At the height of the Celtic Tiger in 2006, the peak average price in Navan was €352,177.
