Four men arrested in connection with Neil Reilly's death

Reilly was savagely assaulted in Lucan earlier this month.

FOUR MEN HAVE been arrested this morning in connection with the murder of Neil Reilly over a week ago.

The murder occurred on 18 January at Esker Glebe in Lucan.

Gardaí received reports of knives and a machete being used to injure 36-year-old Reilly in the altercation that followed. They have also been told that he was run over with a car, and believe that at least five people were involved.

Gardaí say that four males arrested in the Dublin area today range in ages from late teens to early 50s.

They are currently being detained at Finglas, Clondalkin, Lucan and Blanchardstown Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
