4 of a Kind: Beautiful newly-built and unique homes not to be missed

A-rated and ready for you to add your own touch.

THERE IS A lot to be said for buying a brand new A-rated home. No need for extra plug-in radiators, less costly bills and guaranteed warmth even in the depths of winter in Ireland are all great reasons. However, for some people, buying in a large housing estate just doesn’t appeal.

This week, we’ve found four homes across the country that are all brand new but wholly unique. And, even better, they’re blank canvases waiting for their first owners to add their own stamp.

Gowran, Co Kilkenny – €560,000

This home on the Kilkenny Road in Gowran is a spacious five-bed home that’s spread over three levels and 227 m² of floor space. The ground floor features an entrance hall, a bathroom, a sitting room, an open plan kitchen, dining room and family room along with a sunroom that opens to a covered patio area. There is also a utility room with side access.

The first floor is home to four double bedrooms, one with its own bathroom and then a family bathroom. On the second floor, you’ll find the fifth double bedroom with its own bathroom and office space. Gowran village is just a 15 minute drive from Kilkenny city and ten minutes from the M9.
