ANNESLEY GARDENS IS a new development with a difference – particularly when it comes to the interior design.

While most developments work with one interior designer on a whole project, Annesley Gardens is the meeting of two design minds – Roisin Lafferty of Kingston Lafferty Design and Suzie McAdam of Suzie McAdam Design. The result is a collection of 20 three and four-bedroom homes that embrace these well-known designers’ signature styles.

McAdam, who you may also recognise as a judge on RTE’s Home of the Year, designed these four-bedroom homes that remain on the market. The development sits just behind Annesley Park in one of Dublin’s most sought-after leafy villages, Ranelagh.

With prices starting from €1.8 million, they are large, spread over three levels and range in sizes starting from 166.8 m2 to 186.7 m2.

Anyone with their finger on the pulse of Irish interior design will recognise the elegant colour palette, interesting forms and high-quality materials McAdam leans towards.

Fluted cabinets with gold handles and a fluted curved island make a striking first impression in the kitchen. All open plan, the dining space then opens out to the generous and well manicured back garden, which is sure to get the green-fingered off to a good start.

A sitting room sits to the front of the house and is flooded with light thanks to a large bay window. And while limed oak flooring runs throughout the ground floor of these homes, buyers can pick the wall and fitting colours, so they can tie their whole chosen look together.

Ranelagh speaks for itself in terms of location. Everything the city has to offer is on its doorstep, from local schools, parks and leisure facilities to shops pubs and restaurants.

The houses have been designed by the award-winning architects Metropolitan Workshop who wanted the facades, although modern in shape, to complement their older red-brick neighbours.

This is a collection of luxurious and well-made homes that are sure to pique the interest of anyone who wants to show their appreciation for the creative talent we have in this country.

Prices for the remaining houses at Annesley Gardens, Annesley Gardens, Ranelagh, Dublin 6 start from €1,800,000 and are on sale through Sherry Fitzgerald New Homes.
