The floods in Tipp didn't stop these newlyweds making the reception

WITH STORM FRANK well and truly hitting Ireland, the people of Tipperary have had to think on their feet with the floods.

And after one wedding in North Tipp today, the bride and groom had to employ some help to get them to the reception because the roads were so bad:

Father Stephen Neill was helping with the officiating, and shared the image of newlyweds William Harding and Theresa Barry making their way from the church in Lorrha.

He tells DailyEdge.ie that the most direct route to the reception at The Derg Inn in Terryglass was fully flooded – so they needed to take some emergency measures.

It was also the same road where these chancers had a wakeboarding session yesterday.
