Nickelback are wanted by Australian police for 'crimes against music'

Brisbane authorities want them behind (a few) bars.

CANADIAN ROCKERS NICKELBACK are only beginning their tour of Australia today, but they’re already on the run from the the police.

Ahead of their arrival in Brisbane, local police made it clear that they are wanted men.

Queensland Police Service have distributed a photofit image of the four-piece, making it clear that their history of musical murder is not welcome in Australia’s northeast.

The picture has also been shared on the force’s Facebook page and carries a warning that lead singer Chad Kroeger should be considered permed and dangerous.

In fact, as recently as last week they seemed blissfully unaware of their impending arrest.

The band were voted the second worst band of the nineties by readers of Rolling Stone magazine but have achieved phenomenal commercial success.

They sold more albums in the US in the 2000s than any other foreign band apart from The Beatles.
