Do you feel safe on nights out?

A new initiative is being launched to to teach effective “bystander intervention” skills to 18 to 24-year-olds.

A NEW COURSE to teach young people about identifying “problematic behaviour” was announced by Arts and Culture Minister Patrick O’Donovan yesterday.

University College Cork (UCC) is running the ‘All Right All Night’ course as part of its Bystander Intervention Programme.

The programme aims to provide a “safer night-time environment” for young people, according to O’Donovan.

Professor Louise Crowley from UCC says the course aims to contribute to “improved culture of respect and safety” for young people.

So today we’re asking: Do you feel safe on nights out?
