NOEL GALLAGHER was on the Saturday Night Show last night, promoting his new album with the High Flying Birds and their upcoming gig in Dublin’s 3Arena.
Though Gallagher is well known for being forthright with his opinions, viewers were unimpressed with the interview, saying it was “awkward” and “full of silences”.

Awkward interview aside, some people noted that Gallagher appeared to be miming during the performances:

The Saturday Night Show did invite Noel Gallagher to perform live, as it is the policy of the show. But on this occasion Noel and his record company made the decision to do a fully mimed performance.
Gallagher has come out strongly against miming in the past – in 2012, he was highly critical of performers miming at the Brit Awards, saying: “You know who you are and you should be ashamed of yourselves.”
