Northern Ireland Justice Minister's office attacked

Alliance Party Leader’s office hit by suspected petrol bomb at 2.45am today.

THE OFFICE OF Northern Ireland Justice Minister David Ford was attacked overnight.

Police investigating the attack, which took place at the building at Carnmoney Road, Glengormley, Co Antrim, believe it was a petrol bomb.

Paramilitary involvement is one of the lines of inquiry being investigated.

Ford is the Alliance Party Leader and his office was empty at the time of the attack at 2.45am.

Shortly before 5am some scorch damage was discovered on the outside wall of the premises.

Police at Newtownabbey have appealed to anyone who saw something suspicious to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
