TWO WOMEN HAVE been robbed after being held in their living room by two masked men

The men prevented them from stopping another group from robbing the women’s house.

They were said to have been “left badly shaken” but the incident, but that they were not injured.

This happened last night at around 8.45 pm at a property in the Lakelands area of Craigavon in Northern Ireland.

The two women, one aged in her forties and the other in her late teens, are mother and daughter.

The two men stayed with them in their living room for around 10 to 15 minutes while money and jewellery was stolen. The thieves are believed to have made off on foot from the rear of the property.

Speaking about the incident, Detective Inspector Will Tate requested that anyone with any information relating to the incident contact the Criminal Investigation Department at Lurgan Police Station on the non emergency number of 101.
