Northern Lights are still stunning in Donegal

Adam Rory Porter continues scanning the skies over Inishowen for aurora borealis.

THEJOURNAL.IE‘s favourite Inishowen photographer has again captured the stunning Northern Lights display over coastal Donegal.

Adam Rory Porter – more of whose work you can see here – has been charting the skies over the Inishowen peninsula, resulting in images like these and these.

It’s proving to be an amazing season for spotting the Northern Lights as far south as Ireland (well, the northwest of Ireland at any rate). These latest ones from a fine clear night at Culdaff and Malin Head comes from Adam this week:
