Today’s review:

Lauren White Goes on a Date

(Lauren White)

Naomi Davis’ review: The mystery behind this play begins as you walk in the door and you are asked to wear a sticker stating your Facebook relationship staus (just in case you are a potential candidate I guess!). Lauren White introduces herself and presents the audience with a quick trip down memory lane to explain how her childhood experiences and her previous relationships have influenced and affected her current relationship status of ‘single’!

Lauren is looking for a new boyfriend but she is leaving this challenge in the heands of the audience, ultimately, as we had to choose who she goes on a date with, where they go on a date, what she wears and even what she puts in her handbag.

The audience is given the oppurtunity to ask the chosen guys a couple of questions and this conjured up a few giggles alright! Very enjoyable and appropriate play as you could see that other people in the audience have had some experience of the  online dating scene!
In three words? Brave, humorous and a bit cringey!!
