Woman injured after truck rolls over her foot on O'Connell Street

It is believed the woman suffered a broken ankle in the incident.

A WOMAN HAS been taken to a Dublin hospital after a truck rolled over a woman’s foot.

The incident occurred around 8.20am this morning on the junction of O’Connell Street and O’Connell Bridge.

It is believed the woman suffered a broken ankle in the incident.

She was taken to the Mater Hospital, where her condition is not believed to be serious.

The accident caused traffic problems in Dublin, shutting the northbound side of the street for 45 minutes.

The crash has since been cleared and traffic is moving normally in the city.
