Poll: Should off licences near to big events be temporarily closed?

What do you think?

GARDAÍ REQUESTED FOR off licences to close at the weekend in the hours before a match at the Aviva Stadium.

Tesco complied with the request to not sell alcohol between 4pm and 7.30pm while Poland and Ireland went head-to-head.

The temporary closures were put in place to support the ‘local community with public safety’, although others may argue it is a nanny state measure.
