Makes two cocktails
Tip: A teaspoon of coffee added to this mixture gives it a rich mocha chocolate flavour which pairs very well with the Irish Cream.
What you’ll need
For the chocolate sauce
- 50 g dark chocolate
- 20 ml Coolree Cream
For the shake:
- 200ml Deluxe Vanilla Ice Cream
- 10 g Deluxe Gluten Free Triple Chocolate Cookies
- 100 ml Deluxe Irish Cream Liqueur
- 100 ml whole milk
- Chocolate sprinkles, for rim of glass
Optional extras for decorating:
- Chocolate wafers
- Sweets of your choice
- Marshmallows
- Whipped cream
What to do
1. To make the chocolate sauce, melt the chocolate and cream together, stirring until chocolate has melted. Set aside to cool slightly and use it to swirl in the glasses before adding the milkshake.
2. Pour some of the chocolate sauce onto one plate, and pour chocolate sprinkles on another plate. Dip the rim of the glass in the sauce, and then the sprinkles, before chilling in the freezer.
3. In a blender, add the Deluxe Ice Cream, Deluxe Triple Chocolate Cookies and Irish Cream Liqueur, blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into the chilled glasses, decorate with a swirl of Lidl Coolree Creamery Whipped Cream and extra crumbled cookies.
4. To add a real wow factor, use different sweets, cookies and sauces to create an over the top milkshake!
