“As wearables go, I’ve always felt Samsung were blazing the trail. I was delighted to see they’d stuck with the classic round watch facia. But instead of a rotating bezel like it’s predecessor, it uses a quite intuitive ‘virtual’ rotating bezel for slick navigation of the functions. Nicely, the watch uses regular watch straps so you can choose whatever kind you fancy if you’re not a fan of the silicone ones in the box.”

Who should I buy it for? 

“I figure you’ve really got to be into tech to go with a wearable like this. Being active helps make real use of the sleep, health and fitness tracking features. It’s sort of unisex but I feel the older son or daughter might jump higher for joy getting this gadget under the tree.”
