A beautifully rounded South African white.
Region: South Africa
Alc. Vol: 13%
100-Point Rating: 85 points (very good, a wine with special qualities)
Tasting Notes
As they age, wines made from Chenin blanc grapes develop a more golden colour and attractive, honeyed aromas. Swartland is well-known as an excellent source of this grape variety. This wine is rounded, balanced and understated but tasty and appetising.
Food Pairing Suggestions
Perfect with pasta primavera or garlic prawns. Delicious with roast chicken, mild curries, or veggie burgers.
