17-year-old questioned for third time over death of Oisin McGrath (13)

A police file will now be sent to prosecutors for assessment.

A 17-YEAR-OLD was interviewed for the third time today on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of Oisín McGrath.

Thirteen year old Oisin suffered a traumatic head injury playing football during his lunch break at his school in Enniskillen.

He spent three days on life support in hospital before he died.

The 17-year-old student was released on continuing bail after being questioned by the PSNI.

DCI Gareth Talbot from Serious Crime Branch said:

The youth was interviewed earlier today and at the conclusion of that interview process he was released pending a report to the PPS.

Oisín was laid to rest at an emotional ceremony in Fermanagh earlier this month.

His classmates from St Michael’s College formed a guard of honour and wore GAA jerseys over their uniforms during the send-off.
