Poll: Are there too many middle-aged men in politics?

Or are they the best people for the job?

A MEMBER OF Young Greens, the youth wing of the Green Party, has said she got involved in politics because she was ‘tired of middle-aged men pissing away my future all the time’.

This dominant demographic in politics is often criticised, with parties encouraged to include younger candidates in the job.

However, it is argued these people with plenty of experience under their belt can be ‘the best people for the job’.

We want to know what you think: Are there too many middle-aged men in politics?

Poll Results:

Yes (6476)
No (1333)
I don't know (257)
