One arrested over fatal shooting of 20-year-old Dublin man

Stephen Hanaphy was shot dead in October 2010 in an estate in Louth. A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man in connection with the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old Dublin man in October 2010.

Stephen Hanaphy from Coolock was shot and killed at a house in the Sliabh Breagh estate in Ardee in Louth on 29 October 2010. Another man was also injured in the incident.

Gardaí in Ardee investigating the case this morning arrested a 23-year-old man in Drogheda in connection with the shooting and an aggravated burglary.

The man is currently being detained at Dundalk Garda Station under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
