ONE DIRECTION’S MANAGEMENT has confirmed that the band’s planned concerts in Belfast will go ahead tonight and tomorrow evening.

And, what’s more, last night’s cancelled gig will be rescheduled to this Friday, 23 October.

The lads failed to appear on stage at the SSE Arena last night after Liam reportedly fell ill. The announcement wreaked havoc in the venue as fans gasped, wept and jeered. The Irish News reported on ‘children crying on the streets’ while hundreds of pictures flooded the internet of devastated teens.

The queues outside the arena started to form even before Aiken released a statement confirming the concerts could go ahead.
