One man dead, another injured in early-morning Rialto stabbing

The two men, aged in their 20s, were stabbed after an altercation outside the Herberton Apartments in Dublin 8.

ONE MAN has died and another seriously injured after being stabbed during an early-morning altercation in Dublin.

The incident happened outside the Herberton Apartments on St Anthony’s Road in Rialto, Dublin 8.

The two men, both aged in their 20s, received stab wounds in the incident, which occurred at about 5:30am.

The two were rushed to St James’s Hospital, where one of the pair later was later pronounced dead.

The second man is in a serious but stable condition.

The scene of the incident has been preserved for a technical examination.

No arrests have yet been made, but the incident remains under investigation.
