Open thread: What invention would you most like to see?

Be as creative as you like.

IT’S 2014 AND although the world wide web continues to grow, we’ve yet to see many of the amazing inventions Hollywood has promised us.

We’ve no flying cars causing traffic jams in the sky, hoverboards still aren’t a thing and even though Richard Branson keeps promising to take us to space, all we hear are excuses.

Even everyday things like getting up in the morning are still as much of a chore as they were a hundred years ago, perhaps worse with whiney phone alarms.

So we want you tell us what inventions you would most like to see.

Be as creative as you like, we’ll assume you have the technology and the know-how to pull off any idea you have.

Over to you in the comments section.
