Poll: Has the FIFA payment changed your opinion of the FAI?

After they revealed a secret €5 million payment from FIFA, how do you feel about our national soccer body now?

AS THE RUMBLINGS surrounding the payment of €5 million by FIFA to Irish soccer body the FAI in 2010 continue, the association’s version of the events surrounding the payment is evolving.

The story has snowballed to such an extent that even the Taoiseach has got involved, suggesting that the payment itself was “quite extraordinary”.

The FAI has not always lent itself to positive relations with the Irish public, but on this payment the association said its “Board of the Association acted at all times in the best interests of Irish football, and in full compliance with Irish company law”.

We’re asking: Has the FIFA payment changed your opinion of the FAI?
