Orca whales filmed off Donegal coast

The pod of orca whales spotted off Donegal yesterday are thought to be visitors from the Scottish coast.

LUCKY ONLOOKERS WERE delighted yesterday to witness a visit by orca whales – also known as killer whales – off the Donegal coast.

The whales were first spotted off the Banba’s Crown early on Wednesday morning, and were then photographed and filmed as they swam over the course of the day, DonegalNow.com reports.

This particular pod of orca whales are reportedly a regular sight off the Scottish coast.
