Poll: Should outdoor advertising for alcohol be banned?

What do you think?

NEW RESEARCH PUBLISHED today has led to calls for a ban on outdoor alcohol advertising.

The study, commissioned by Alcohol Action Ireland, found that just over a third of secondary school students have engaged in binge drinking in the past month, including close to a fifth of children aged between 13 and 15.

The authors of the report say prohibiting outdoor ads would be an important step in tackling the issue, as children with greater exposure to alcohol marketing are more likely to drink.

This morning’s poll: Should outdoor advertising for alcohol be banned?

Poll Results:

No (5737)
Yes (2371)
Not sure (336)
