Man seriously injured after van overturns in Donegal

Gardaí in Ballybofey are appealing for witnesses to the accident.

A 34-YEAR-OLD man has been seriously injured in Donegal after the van he was a passenger in overturned on a rural road last night.

At about 9.40pm yesterday, the van overturned on the Drumkeen to Stranorlar Road in the townland of Ballinaglack. The injured man was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny Hospital.

Another two passengers, both men, were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Gardaí at Ballybofey have appealed for witnesses following the single vehicle collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact them on 074 913 7740 or at Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 67100.

The road remains closed to traffic to facilitate forensic investigations.
