Five injured as suspected gas explosion rocks Paris residential neighbourhood

The explosion is believed to be related to a gas line rupturing.

A PARIS NEIGHBOURHOOD has been rocked by an explosion this morning.

The incident, which happened in the sixth arrondissement, is believe to be related to the rupture of a gas line.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the explosion was the result of a “domestic accident”.

The explosion is understood to have occurred on the left bank of the River Seine, close to Montparnasse.

RT.com reports that five people have been reported injured, while local residents have been evacuated.
