NEWSTALK’S NEWEST ADDITION has just landed a sponsor.

The Pat Kenny Show will now be powered by Energia.

Starting next Monday, September 2 the show will go out from 10am to 12.30pm every weekday.

A statement from Newstalk say Kenny’s show “brings you the sharpest analysis of news and current affairs on the radio and fresh perspectives on the issues that will define a generation”.

“We are delighted that he joined the team here at Newstalk. His arrival marks a significant milestone for Newstalk and reflects our long-term commitment to the development of independent radio, in Ireland,” said Garrett Harte, station editor Newstalk.

Kenny joins Newstalk after a 40-year career with RTÉ.
