Woman with Alzheimer's who went missing is found 46km from home

The family of Pauline Lynch, 67, spoke of “huge relief” at finding her safe.

THE FAMILY OF a 67-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disease spoke of their “huge relief” after she was located, having gone missing yesterday.

A search by gardai and volunteers was sparked yesterday after it was reported that Pauline Lynch from Dalkey, Dublin had disappeared.

Her daughter Liz D’Arcy began raising awareness of her mum’s plight on social media platforms.

This morning, she was happy to report that her mother had been found safe in Balbriggan, which is 46km from Dalkey.
