Pedestrian killed in Dublin crash

Gardaí seek information on fatal crash which killed 36-year-old man at an N11 junction.

GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for information from anyone who may have witnessed a crash on the N11 on Saturday morning in which a 36-year-old pedestrian was killed.

The pedestrian was struck by a taxi at Whites Cross on the N11, the junction of the Leopardstown Road and Newtorkpark Avenue, at around 4.30am on Saturday.

The man was taken by ambulance to St Vincent’s Hospital but died there yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí are seeking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them on 01 666 5200 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
