Pedestrian seriously injured by car in Naas

GARDAÍ IN NAAS are appealing for any witnesses to an incident in which a 78-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured this morning to come forward. The woman was struck by a car at the Lock Buí and Fairgreen Street junction in Naas, Co Kildare. The driver of the car was not injured. The vehicle is described as being a blue 5 series BMW with a 2006 Dublin registration. Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area of the collision this morning or who has any information regarding the incident to contact them on 045 884300.
