We are very aware of the historic nature of the site and are pleased that our store is open prior to the upcoming 1916 celebrations.

The refurbished store provides 51,600 sq. ft. (4,800 sq. m.) of retail space over three floors.

Penneys has 36 stores in Ireland and the O’Connell street store has been open since 1992.

Overall, Primark currently has 302 stores across 10 countries, opening its first store in the US in Boston last September, followed by its second US store in King of Prussia, Philadelphia in November.

It plans to open six further stores by 2017.
