Another defeat for operation mockingbird, rather than bump off the danger man just destroy his reputation with the help of gov controlled media, who will crucify him without a verdict but will largely remain silent on his basic acquittal. Go figure
@methodical2020: you don’t need to go back that far even, Seth Rich was murdered recently, he worked for the DNC but is suspected of being a leaker to wiki leaks. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Seth_Rich
@Government Sachs: The family themselves have criticised the PI who has made these claims and some of the claims have been backtracked on:
“Wheeler told CNN he had no evidence to suggest Rich had contacted WikiLeaks before his death.
“Wheeler instead said he only learned about the possible existence of such evidence through the reporter he spoke to for the FoxNews.com story. He explained that the comments he made to WTTG-TV were intended to simply preview Fox News’ Tuesday story. The WTTG-TV news director did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
” ‘I only got that [information] from the reporter at Fox News,’ Wheeler told CNN.
“Asked about a quote attributed to him in the Fox News story in which he said his ‘investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,’ Wheeler said he was referring to information that had already been reported in the media.”
The question of whether there is anything to it is not helped by lunatic claims.
@Government Sachs: I’ll believe the Seth Rich story when there is any evidence at all. With Kelly there was evidence. I’m not ruling it out but the available evidence looks like a botched robbery. Also, he was still alive when cops arrived, professionals don’t so that.
Awful pity that all the cameras recording the night Seth rich was killed cant be shown interesting to know what the police bodycams recorded ,. In police report they were wearing them.. believe foi requests are trying to find that out.. Time will tell..
@LITTLEONE: welcome back, still no apology? I wonder who you’ll make false accusations against today? Might as well make it three days in a row against me.
@LITTLEONE: lol, tactic? For two days straight you’ve lied on a public forum about me. Also let me save anyone the bother of looking into your body cam claims. Only places I’ve seen that story are on gatewaypundit and angrypatriotmovement. As sources go the alt-right have a checkered history with the truth
@Dave O Keeffe: wow Dave. What a comment. You start off by trying to dissuade anyone to go look themselves about bodycams is because of sites with a checkered history is only place you saw them. Yet you must visit those checkered history sites yourself. Good for you.. might come as a surprise to u Dave. But their is a police report for the incident .. did you forget to look at that
@LITTLEONE: do you really believe that I read those sites? I googled your claim and up they popped. Funnily enough all that’s available on the police report is people saying they’ve seen it, no actual official source.
@Dave O Keeffe: are you claiming that their is no police incident report to the murder..! Really Dave .. that’s a good one.. good for you.. yourself and Tony really are pushing all out today…. How do you think anyone , journalists media from all networks , newspapers got the information about the murder and his injuries etc… Same as do for a lot of murders police incident reports.. something that is done..
@LITTLEONE:
yes – and you seem tobe trying to push the narrative that the existence of body camera footage must mean HRC herself pulled the trigger.
I haven’t denied the existence of anything – but I haven’t suggested such leaps either.
@Tony Canning: where do i claim that? Utter nonsense… One minute you are claiming one thing, next thing it’s something else… Make up your mind… Considering it’s you and Dave that are claiming things don’t exist when they do like police incident report and the police bodycams ..
@booby sandwiches: Now Now Endathegreat, no need for the theatrics , We all know you’re a fool, but there’s no need to broadcast it to the whole world.
Will Sweden apologise for years of hardship they have put him through or offer compensation…..Will the women who accused him in the wrong be named by Swedish authorities….
@John003: Small potatoes, in the overall scheme of things. The reaction of the USA is the relevant factor – they are seriously miffed that this bloke released 1,000s of their highly classified documents.
@Deborah Behan: Your like the proverbial dog with the bone!, let it go, he’s an innocent man the world owes him a huge debt of gratitude, this is not how our whistleblowers should be treated, it was a stitch up and a witch hunt!
@Fank Pulman: The relevant factor here is the US will have to lodge an extradition warrant for what will be taken up as a political act. Assange’s legal team will be all over that like a dose of measels. I’m sure they will cite as precedent for refusal , the case of the UK v Chile re the General Pinochet case. A case where Pinochet was not sought for releasing 1000′s of documents , but the much more serious charge of 1000′s of killings.And ultimately the UK’s refusal to extradite.
@Veronica: The vast, vast, vast, majority of men , 99,9% or more of the world population of men are innocent of rape , so there is no need to try them. You should really get help of the mental variety for that huge chip on your shoulder.
@Kate Flaherty: @Linda: @Brian:
#fail
The lawyer representing the woman who made the allegations said today that she was shocked by the decision to drop the arrest warrant, and has reaffirmed her claim that she was raped.
@Avina Laaf: Which one? The one that tweeted a pic of Julian in her bed after the rape or the one that’s on record as saying she only wanted to get him to take an std test?
@Deborah Behan: The first 2 women accused him of rape in Sweden but at that time he was no where near Sweden, so that was dropped and replace with woman who agreed and wanted sex with him. So he entered her for a second time and that was deemed rape but she said or did nothing to prevent the second entry. Seems a bit weird but safer to keep it in his undies after all that?
@Alois Irlmaier:
Swedish rape law is different to ours, but when in Sweden….
Can you imagine the outrage if a Japanese visitor here had sex with a 13yo and tried to defend it on the basis that it wouldn’t be illegal in Japan?
@Tony Canning: Julian Assange put up an award for info leading to Seth Rich killers. We know who sent the emails to wikileaks. It was not the Russians.
@Joe Caulfield: first, we? Second, know? Proof? Any at all? Third, Assange has never said it was him. Rich was a friend of Assange’s mentor. I’m not ruling it out but it’s just as likely to be personal.
@Joe Caulfield:
“Julian Assange put up an award for info leading to Seth Rich killers”
No he didn’t – Wikileaks did. If you think Assange=Wikileaks you’re stuck back a few years.
Regardless, this fact says nothing about any responsibility for Rich’s death.
“We know who sent the emails to wikileaks”
No we don’t – we have a PI who was hired by the family going on a solo run and saying this and other things. Some of the things they have said are demonstrably false wrt laptops and things the PI claims that the FBI knows.
“It was not the Russians”
You’ve got the inside track here do you?
There is no doubt that the death of Seth Rich is suspicious and there are questions to be asked. Going off on theories like this usually have no value for the actual investigation.
The PI also identified several cameras in the area of the murder. This is something that is easily verifiable and could be a genuine line of inquiry.
Unfortunately, some people just want to run down certain routes on flimsy proof and suspicion simply because they want things to point at Clinton.
You can’t run any investigation by deciding what the result is beforehand. That’s EXACTLY how it was run against Assange.
The next argument is “But they’re not actively pursuing anything”. Again, pushing at conspiracy theories will not help any call for investigation.
@Kate Flaherty: in both countries the only reason for his arrest now is skipping bail and non showing to a court in Sweden. Nothing serious in the grand scheme but I think the UK public would like to know why 2 pipeline have been stationed outside the Ecuadorian embassy for 7 yrs. What an utter waste if resources.
Interesting what will happen now. He had said he was willing to be extradited to USA if Obama pardoned Chelsea Manning which he did.
I think they are calling his bluff now by dropping the charges.
@Frank Murtagh: Sorry Frank your right though the statement by Wikileaks says he would agree to be extradited if Manning was released, so it wasn’t based in a pardon at all, just the release
So, apparently a night with a woman where she acknowledges there were two instance of consensual sex but at 5am she allegedly decided not to go for round three – that’s rape now ?? FFS.
@CeannairBlue:
Personally I think this entire thing has holes in it but I’m not up for the notion of deciding for someone else what rape is.
Sweden has a much broader definition of rape than pretty much any other country. So what falls under that banner in terms of a crime will be different from everywhere else.
The situation you described may or may not be what happened but as a hypothetical I think anyone who thinks that “round three” should be taken for granted as consensual needs to take a look again at what they think consent is.
@Tony Canning: I see your point but if I – as a woman, just for clarify – ask someone to go to bed with me, and I engage in stuff that would shock the horses – it is not beyond the great scheme of things for the bloke to believe I’m up for an early morning session.
I just want women to be sensible about their behaviour.
@CeannairBlue: I’m sorry, but if a person says no then it’s no. Just because rounds 1 and 2 were good, does NOT mean that you can’t say no to three. Especially if he didn’t use a condom despite her specifically saying he had to. I don’t know if this particular accusation is true or not, but that’s what trials are for.

@Stouts O Shea: So you’re OK with covering up war crimes and killing anyone anywhere with glee and impunity then? That’s what this is about. The footage of the Reuters journalists being blown to pieces was the tip of the iceberg.
Can we expect to see Wikileaks exposure of the assasinations of Russian government political opponents and opposition journalists critical of Vladimir Putin’s regime? I wonder why….
