Pharmacy robbed in Co Louth

Gardaí appealing for information regarding theft of drugs from a pharmacy in Castlebellingham today.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING A ROBBERY at a pharmacy in Castlebellingham, Co Louth, early this morning.

A safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and some controlled drugs were taken from the premises at around 4.45am.

Gardaí say the majority of the drugs stolen are packaged in blister pack units, and medical advice suggests taking them without medical supervision or guidance could be harmful.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the drugs to contact them on 042 937 2205 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
