Man due in court charged in connection with Philip Finnegan murder

The 24-year-old’s body was found in Rahin Woods in September last year.

A MAN IS due in court today charged in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Philip Finnegan in September last year.

Finnegan, who was originally from the Kilmainham area of Dublin, had been reported missing in August 2016. His body was discovered a month later by walkers in a secluded area of Rahin Woods in Kildare.

Today gardaí said a man in his 30s is expected to appear at Naas District court charged in connection with this investigation.
