Five fire engines were on the scene as the busy Dublin street was partially closed off this morning.

Updated: 1pm

DUBLIN’S CAMDEN STREET was closed off to all traffic this morning after a fire was reported to have broken out in one of the buildings there.

Five fire engines were on the scene outside Flannery’s pub on the busy street although it was not clear where on the street the fire broke out or what damage it caused.

Witnesses said the fire did not appear to be a major one.

Gardaí had blocked off the road and were advising motorists to avoid the area but the street has since reopened and traffic is moving as normal.
