Miraculous escape: Pilots manage to land planes after hair-raising mid-air crash

Photos taken afterwards showed significant damage to one of the plane’s wings.

TWO PILOTS ESCAPED unharmed after their aircraft were involved in a mid-air collision at an airshow in Bengaluru, India.

According to the Times of India, the crash happened right over the runway and had the crowd “bewildered for a few moments”.

The pilots managed to recovered to land safely, however – and no-one was harmed.

The Red Bull stunt planes were taking part in the at the Aero India air show yesterday.

Photos posted online afterwards showed damage to the wings of one of the planes.
