THE SALARIES OF the bosses of charities have been the subject of much scrutiny over the last few weeks.

Many charities are reporting a drop off in donations as the scandal that surrounds the Central Remedial Clinic continues to rage.

However, TheJournal.ie columnist Aaron McKenna today makes the argument that the wages are necessary to attract top staff.
