Poll: Are the Irish a hard-working people?

Stats say we have one of the shortest working weeks in the EU – but some of the most productive workers. What’s been your experience of the Irish work ethic?

THERE HAS BEEN some debate on TheJournal.ie since we published UK Office of National Statistics figures which said Ireland has one of the shortest average working weeks in the EU.

However, an additional table from Eurostat shows that we are have one of the highest rates of productivity in Europe.

What has been your experience of your colleagues? Do you think we deserve the title of one of the most productive workforces in Europe?
