Poll: Are you afraid of dogs?

The government says it has no plans to change the restricted dogs list.

THE GOVERNMENT SAYS there’s no plans to change the restricted dogs list, despite a recent study suggesting they are not helpful.

The current laws impose restrictions on 11 different breeds of dog, including pitbulls, alsatians, rottweilers and doberman pinschers.

Some people feel safer with dogs seen as more “violent” than others muzzled, while others love all kinds of dogs.

We’re asking: Are you afraid of dogs?

Poll Results:

No (8220)
Only larger dogs (2535)
Yes - all dogs (1711)
I don't know (217)
