Poll: Are you going to partake in Arthur’s Day this year?

Arthur’s Day will take place this Thursday. Will you be toasting to Arthur at 17.59?

THE ROYAL COLLEGE of Physicians has criticised Arthur’s Day, an event organised by drinks manufacturer Diageo that will take place this Thursday, saying it promotes heavy drinking and is irresponsible.

They are holding a public meeting to discuss the issue today.

Other critics of the day include Irish musician Christy Moore who last week announced the release of his anti-Arthur’s Day song which states that it is just a marketing ploy.

Today’s topic therefore is: Are you going to partake in Arthur’s Day this year?

Poll Results:

No (4613)
I'm not sure (2799)
