SHOPPERS ACROSS THE country are hitting the high streets today for the post-Christmas sales, enticed by goods at knocked-down prices.

With some stores opening as early as 6am, dedicated bargain-hunters have been queueing from the early hours to get first dibs on reduced stock.

The St Stephen’s Day sales will be a welcome boost to retailers – on the same week as Retail Excellence Ireland reported the busiest sales day in the five years.

So we’d like to know, will you be hitting the sales today?
