Poll: Are you planning a last-minute push for Christmas travel?

The traditionally busy Christmas travel period has been thrown into chaos by poor weather.

THE WEATHER HAS CAUSED huge disruptions to the travel plans of thousands of people who were hoping to get home in time for Christmas, and continues to cause problems today.

Cancelled flights across snow-struck European airports have been causing most of the transport chaos, while rail and bus services in Ireland are also experiencing disruptions and delays.

Snow and compacted ice on roads across the country have forced some people to change their holiday plans and hold off on travelling until conditions improve.

How have you been affected? Has travelling home for Christmas been a nightmare?

Have your say in today’s poll: Have you reached your Christmas destination yet?

Poll Results:

Yes, I made it! (80)
Have changed plans (26)
No, still have to get there (19)
