Poll: Should Bob Geldof get back his Freedom of Dublin award?

Geldof handed back the award last month, urging councillors to strip the honour from Aung San Suu Kyi.

LAST MONTH BOB Geldof handed back his Freedom of Dublin award as part of a stunt to urge Dublin City Council to strip the award from Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

The council recently voted to expunge his name from the Roll of Honorary Freemen of the city – something Geldof said he was ‘disgusted’ by.

He told reporters this week that if councillors decide to give it back to him, he would accept it.

So, we want to know: Should Bob Geldof get back his Freedom of Dublin award?
