Poll: Should shops get rid of 'boys' and 'girls' signs?

US Store Target got rid of them after feedback from customers.

TARGET, ONE OF the biggest retailers in the USA, announced earlier this week that its signs are going gender neutral.

This means no more ‘girls’ or ‘boys’ signs in the kids’ toy and bedding aisles of the store.

The decision has got quite a reaction from customers with those who oppose the move saying ‘it’s silly’ while those who agree with it say it shows ‘corporate responsibility’.

So today we’re asking, Should shops get rid of ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ signs?

Poll Results:

No (3501)
Yes (2483)
Do whatever once I can find what I'm looking for (1995)
I couldn't care less (943)
