Poll: Are you venturing out to celebrate New Year's Eve?

With more organised events than ever before to help people ring in the New Year, do you plan on leaving your house to celebrate it?

IT’S THE LAST day of 2012 and with 2013 just around the corner, the question on many people’s minds will be how to mark its passing.

As the years go by, the options are growing, with many large-scale events organised throughout Ireland.

But is it worth it?

For every person who talks about the nightmare of getting home and the price of entertainment, there is another who will not, under any circumstances, be content with sitting in front of their television and ringing it in that way.

So today we’re asking: Do you plan on heading out tonight to mark the end of 2012?

Poll Results:

No (2124)
It depends on what family and friends are doing (2108)
Yes (437)
