Poll: Do you support child benefit being linked to school attendance?

A section of the draft programme for government includes a section proposing this.

A SECTION OF the draft programme for government leaked last week proposes linking child benefit and school attendance.

The relevant section says that this would address the “poor attendance within some families”.

When contacted by TheJournal.ie, the Department of Social Protection declined to comment as the final programme for government is yet to be published.

This morning we want to know: Should child benefits be linked to school attendance?
