Poll: Should chocolate brands be allowed sponsor sports organisations?

A new Cadbury’s limited edition Moro bar will include the message: ‘Boost your passion for the GAA’

SPORTS ORGANISATIONS TEND to team up with all types of companies for sponsorship, but now the GAA will have a specially-branded chocolate bar in its honour.

The limited edition Cadbury’s Moro bar will include the message ‘Boost your passion for the GAA’, the Sunday Times reports.

There will be activity prizes on offer on the wrapper of the bar.

The company says that it is not telling people to “go out and eat 10 bars of this stuff a day” but the Royal College of Physicians’ policy group on obesity is worried it will encourage children to eat more chocolate.

What do you think: Should sports organisations be sponsored by chocolate brands?

Poll Results:

Yes (2297)
