They have been in the news all week and have been pillars of the community for decades, but do they still have your confidence?

ALL WEEK, THE news has been dominated by the state of credit unions in Ireland.

Questions about the movement’s strength abound after Newbridge Credit Union, which was one of the biggest community credit unions in the state, was taken over by Permanent TSB on the back of a High Court order sought by the Central Bank.
